Rain passed through about an hour before sunrise so I was able to bag a few. Should've had my limit.

Ended up with 3 greys and a widgeon. Passed up a limit on a couple spoons. Sleet was a killer, picking up dekes could barely get hands to move

Definitely didnít see numbers thought I would. Not many hunting, heard only handful of shots right at legal. Thought more people would be out guess they were scared of weather

Hopefully theyíll be some birds coming in on the back side of this front. Wonder if they showed up in Oklahoma thiswith this weather moving through. Everyone Iíve talked to had a less than stellar morning.

Per DU's migration report. The birds are all hold up in Nebraska.

Did not see hardly any ducks this morning. Not what I expected... got one gadwall right at shooting light then nothing after.

I donít put much stock in anything reported on that site but they should start to freeze up soon

I was really expecting today to be a burner. The lake flooded out of its banks again, strong north wind. Saw two birds all day. That included scouting the entire lake.

Well I did shoot a limit, 2 mallards, 3 Woodrow's and 1 gw teal. All drakes. I did not expect much with all the clouds and did not see a lot of birds but the ones I saw wanted in. Tomorrow should be a good day...lots of sunshine where we'll be.

I understand, but the photos of downed birds are far and few between. And folks I've talked with just aren't seeing birds.

Not surprising with the rain that came in just before the season. With the few we get, the ones that are here are scattered.

I thought today would be the day. First day with no ran since Thursday, cold front...saw the fewest number of ducks all season. Heard a lot of shots on neighboring ponds, but we didnít shoot anything. Everything we saw was flying high and really had no interest in the lake we were hunting.

Today was good, but you had to wait till 9-10 am
They came in late, in good numbers. Got 4 teal and 2 green.

Grand pass in Missouri last duck count was 270,000 ducks, 85% mallards. It is froze over so they should be coming south soon. banana

If Mo is froze up hopefully Kan and ok will follow. We just need them to move back and forth between Waco and Sherman. Maybe stray back into Oklahoma once in a while.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Little rainy and pretty windy. Didn't see a whole lot. Only managed 2 ducks. Had a few come in but wouldn't commit. Staying just out of range.
