I was in the deer blind Sunday afternoon with my twin 5 year old sons. I grabbed the camera card out of the trail cam and started checking pictures. There were 2000 from the previous week, and it did not take me long to figure out why. There was a group of hogs that have been coming in every morning and afternoon for the entire week. It was two good sized sows and 10-12 piglets with them. Anyways the feeder goes off at 4:34 pm and sure enough, out steps that group. I was able to take out one of the sows, but the others were pretty quick back into the brush. Needless to say, the twins were pumped. [Linked Image]

Good going on the sow.
Keep knocking them down!

Yeah they loved it. They have been deer hunting with either me, my wife, or grandpa quite a bit. All three of us have shot bucks with them in the stand this year, but they were most pumped up about the hog though.

Well done!

Funny how quick the hogs can evacuate an area. Since you weren't blasting away at them, no doubt they will be back in short order and the Twins will be even more pumped!

Oh they’ll be back. I think I was a little too quick on the old bolt action, which caused it to lock up.
