I would love to build a plywood appx 5'x10' blind/cabin on a trailer. It wound be set up as a regular deer stand in the front, with enough room to stretch/relax/sleep toward the back. It might also be used as overnight lodging. The problem is, it's too heavy to be pulled by my 4cyl RAV4. Buying a new vehicle is out. I was thinking about having a frame built on a lightweight trailer. Then have a canvas tarp fabricated, that could be taken off in transit. Any ideas? capt david

Google "foamie travel trailer" builds. End result is a pretty light weight camping trailer designed for smaller vehicles. Your size may need to be changed to get the weight down for your tow vehicle.

Here's my 8x6 Fiberglass blind on a utility trailer that I can pull with my Honda Pioneer. I've got a bed in it, spend the night, etc. You could do the same thing with a 8x8 Fiberglass blind mounted on a boat trailer if you were trying to cut costs.
