 My Son got his 1st buck

Well the smile says it all my boy connected with a nice Hill Country eight last monday, we stayed at our place in Medina one more day Monday kept the boys out of school for a much needed family day, he had gotten 1 hog last year and 1 doe earlier this year, I was proud of him we had a doe at rhe stand from 630-8 she left and about 20 mins later this guy came in on a line sniffing the ground, we got drews gun up when he went behind some shrubs and i asked him if he could see his shoulder the buck stopped and was staring at us at 50 yds i new we had about 10sec while he figured out what we were i asked him 1 more time do you see him he said yes so I said shoot, he didnt hesitate and hammered him in the shoulder with his .243 Ruger American(its been a great little gun) and he went 30 yards and fell down and the high fives started. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2018/12/full-43173-170328-20181126_085247.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2018/12/full-43173-170329-20181126_084927.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2018/12/full-43173-170330-20181126_091953.jpg) [b][/b]
