I might have done better if the first boar wasn't more than 1000 yards away, during 700 of which I could not see it. By the time I got to where he had been he was gone.

The next two boars were much closer. Both were killed with the benefit of the moon not being up yet and favorable winds. I also had the advantage of a noisy pumpjack covering my approach on one of them.

I like stalking single boars. It is usually all or nothing and more often than not, it is "all."

You should have used the teleportation machine on that first boar.

I have worked with both concepts previously with poor results, very similar to what happened with the digital conveyor from Galaxy Quest. Such work is document in the historical records...
