With all the acorns falling and worms coming closer to the surface due to all the rain... I've got several untouched bait piles full of corn and several fields with hog damage. I was able to have a little fun with my 6.5 Creedmoor and get some hog revenge!

Good hunting Buddy!

I'm seeing the same thing here.
We have not had a lot of rain here (stock tanks are still low) but a lot of days with some rain and the pastures are thick and green for lots of cover and food.
Lots of acorns on the ground in last few days after front blew thru and shook the trees.

The pigs have been pretty scarce at the feeders but are ripping up my hay fields.
They are also ripping up the ground in areas where I fed round bales last year.
I am pretty sure they are going for the big fat grubs.

I've been laying off for some family members and friends to make bow and first couple of rifle weekends here on the place.
Gonna start hitting them again shortly after hunters have this weekend.

Cheers,

Good video!

Yep, with acorns on the ground and every deer feeder in the county running now, along with the extra hunting pressure of deer hunters taking opportunistic shots at hogs, the swine have been making themselves scarce. Nice job putting some down.

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.
