 West Texas buck fight

Was able to catch part of this fight on camera yesterday on the Historic Pitchfork Ranch. Initially the buck that won the fight was just casually eating corn. He stopped looked behind him and took off full speed down hill that's when I seen the second buck. They hit antlers initially at full speed kinda like 2 rams fighting. Seen lots of sparring but this was my first good buck fight and I got it on video.

They are very strong animals for their size. I watched two bucks fight in Mexico from a few feet away, never seen anything like it before.

Good capture! They are amazing animals, and, as mentioned, if they went after humans the way they go after each other, it wouldn't be safe to walk around in their territory!

Very cool. I love watching them, and every time I see a fight, i'm impressed with the raw power and aggression. They usually don't last very long because one realizes quickly that it's out matched, but sometimes you get to witness a couple studs that are not used to losing, and it can last minutes. I have a 'typical' fight also on my channel, but here is one between a couple studs I took years ago that lasted nearly 3:30 minutes:

Heck of a capture Sapper, I have seen quite a few Mule deer fights like this, but never a good buck fight in person. Same as you, seen a lot of sparring/goofing off, but not a quick azz whooping, pretty neat.
