I really like it. Thick cut and tons of pepper. My uncle lives in Post and usually gives me a pound or two for Christmas.

A buddy had a deer processed at Kuby's in Dallas. Their jerky was real similar.

Jacksons is the best I've ever had. Crushed black pepper and brined. Pitchfork predator and I have stopped there before. Get a half pound of their smoked cheddar and saltines and you've got good stuff to eat out on the field.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.
