I shoot an older parker compound. I don't know much of the specifics on the bow, it is about 15 years old.

I shot a few practice shots this weekend and it shot good, but about 1/2 way through the 20-30 shots I took the top cam started making a pretty loud clicking noise right before full draw, im assuming when the weight drops down. I looked everything over on the cam all appears to be in order, no corrosion etc. If you watch the cam while drawing you can visibly see it stop moving and then a sudden move again when the clicking noise happens. All the strings/cables appear to be fine and ride correctly on the cams as far as I can see. Anyone have an idea what my problem might be?

The bow it not a high value bow and it is old, but it has served me well and still functions fine other than this noise. Anyone have a ballpark of what it would cost to have a shop look at it? If its worth messing with? Or an idea of what might be the issue?

Thanks.

Check your Draw length module screws. Screw loose will click

Also check for anything else loose.

Out of time can cause difference in feel as well and on some bows clicking, but many times it will be the screw

Thanks Kmon1, I checked all the hardware I could find nothing was loose. It appears as if the cam is binding somehow and then breaking free with the click. Unfortunately it was pouring cats and dogs on us and I didn't have room to keep it in the truck so its still at the ranch.
