Browning, Franchi and don't turn your nose up at CZ, Stepping up to Beretta aint bad either

I have an older Franchi Veloce in a 20ga/28ga two barrel set and love it. Super light and comes up quick. Great gun in a 20ga, quite a bit of recoil because its so light in a 12ga

I am in the market for a 28 gauge and decided on the franchi instinct, rizzini br110, or berretta silver pigeon in that order.

I'd find another Beretta 686 Whitewing.
It's been my best bird gun overall. Everything from high flying white wings to pheasant.
Never seen a gunsmith, bought it in 2006.

I had a berretta whitewing 20ga and it was a good gun. I sold it b/c I bought it before I understood the importance of shotgun fit. The whitewing did not fit me.

I would say whatever gun you get, go shoulder it and make sure it fits you. That way you will shoot it accurately

I shoot a 20ga Citori, and a buddy I hunt with quite a bit shoots a 20ga Cynergy. I love mine and he loves his; the Cynergy is quite a bit lighter than my Citori. Next gun I buy will probably be a Silver Pigeon 28ga.

I don’t see how anyone can shoulder a gun in the store and say it fits. A point of impact test should be done

I want to buy an over and under too. I'm a left hander, so that limits my choices some. I looked at the Beretta 686 in L/H. Very nice. Probably too nice to take hunting. I handled the CZ Southpaw at the NRA show in Dallas in January. Kind of leaning that way, but haven't been able to find one on the shelf.

You can also have the stock bent to make it a left hander.

If you haven’t found one yet I have a real pretty Rizzini Round body small frame 20 ga. For sale. It has been shot 30 rounds at a demo shoot.
