I'm starting the process of looking for a really good mountain lion guide in Texas for my 16 year old son? Any recommendations?

Not many places in Texas except Sanderson and west texas that can consistently produce mountian lions. Much better odds in new mexico I know several guides their.

Bigger, more fur up north or NM. Bigger price too I bet. Mt lion over good dogs is an epic hunt in the right conditions. A good hunt could be had over Christmas break up here in Wyoming or Colorado. Just got some great snow also for an early season hunt.
Betting NM has some pretty cats too.

Thanks guys for the information, but we just got back from a New Mexico lion hunt with a good guide and are trying for a Texas one now.

If you find one to hunt with, let the rest of us know how it went.
