Need to season a Blackstone griddle. The reccomend coastal owners use heavy cooking oil to season. What is the heaviest?

I would guess lard, but we always used Crisco, it was good enough for my grandma's, so it is good enough for me.

Gotta say I used veg oil for years. Had some lard left over from tamales a few months ago and figured why not give it a try. Lard is surely better!

Thigh off of Rosie O'Donnell Do not think he wants to add 100lbs to the griddle No way would I eat off anything that got anywhere near one of Rosie O'Donnell's thighs...... We'll stick with lard....
