I have two openings for private ranch mule deer on a 6000 ac ranch in unit 36 near Lincoln NM
This ranch has a good population of deer and bucks in the 130” up to 170” can be expected
These can be archery 5 days January 1-15. 2019

Dec 8-9
Dec 15-6
The dec dates should have some good rut activity
Archery hunt 2 on 1 guided only $2950 ea plus tax and lic

Thsee hunts should all have good rut activity with the exception of the nov youth dates but we could see some pre rut by then.
Rut in this area typically runs from mid Dec to mid Jan.

This would be a great opportunity to take kids on a hunt

For the youth rifle hunts I’ll offer a 50% refund for any youth that does not kill or wound a buck. If they shoot and miss the refund still applies as long as there is no evidence that they wounded it

I will consider doing these hunts semi guided for the right hunters. . Half a day to show you around then you can hunt on your own. Price will be a little lower.
Had two rifle hunters this past week one tagged out the first morning one the 3rd evening.
I will only book two more hunters on this ranch

Youth rifle hunts available dec 8-9 or 15-16 if both are sold together for the same dates I’ll reduce the price to $1950 ea plus tax this is a great time to hunt the rut will be starting. The kid we took on this hunt last year tagged out early

If both are sold and you hunt the first weekend and are unsuccessful you can return the next weekend for an additional $600 if you can only hunt one weekend I’d go with the dec 15-16 dates the rut will be better the further we get into December

If both are sold as archery for the January 1-15 hunt I’ll reduce to $2450 ea plus tax 5 day hunt


These won’t get any cheaper if they don’t sell at this price I’ll let my guides or their kids go hunt.
