I'm looking for recommendations on night time hunt for jack rabbits/varmints for a buddy of mine's batchelor party. I've heard of hunts where you ride around shooting rabbits/varmints at night. We are trying to find somewhere to do a lot of shooting and can accommodate a group of 8 or maybe more. Thanks

Get a spotlight and call some farmers.

I’d be willing to bet that I’ve dragged a plow a lot more than you have.
I’m wondering if OP does something with the meat in particular.

I’m wondering if OP does something with the meat in particular. You judge other peoples choices of animals to hunt, like you know better. Jackrabbits are not in short supply in many areas of Texas and are detrimental pests in those areas. This is a hunting forum FYI.

We want to shoot varmints/nuisance animals. We do like to eat rabbit, we've never are jack rabbit but we are from Louisiana do I imagine we can cook a gravy and make them taste good. We are over run with hogs here and don't want to just sit in a stand and shoot hogs at night. We also want to hunt as a group or two and it would simply be fun just to ride around shooting whatever at night. We don't want to just drive across Texas to show up and hope we find farmers that let us ride around and hunt on their place. I'll post on the guides section, thanks for the input.
