I didn't get hunt early season due to rain so thinking about late season South of San Antonio. Not sure what to expect as I've never tried it before. Please comment

Where I live in NE Texas the 2nd season is generally 100x better than the regular season most years.
Be aware that most of the dove and small game public areas are not open for hunting in the 2nd season if you plan to hunt public. A lot of WMAs also do not allow dove hunting during the 2nd half (or they did when I hunted public).

Thanks, I have a paid for least that was rained out. I'll call the ranch manager to see if they have hunts planned foe late season. I was just wondering about the quality of hunts during the late season..
