Better get them out today to thaw. I removed mine from the freezer yesterday and put it in a cooler.

I bought another one today for Christmas. They are cheaper at Thanksgiving. I plan to bone the breast out tomorrow. I'll have this Thursday.

My hands are cold. They got to me on the water added part. My boneless thurkey breast in now marinating in a brine of salt and sugar water. The dark meat has been boned and are now in the freezer awaiting, sausage, roux, and oysters for gumbo. Take a peek of my stock pot. There won't be a bone left in my kitchen tomorrow morning. I have to run to the store to get my fixings for hot and sour soup.

I saw mine thawing in the sink this morning, before I headed out.

Thawing in the sink is dicey. Thaw them in the fridge. They’re so thick the outside will be warm while the inside is still frozen. Plan ahead for 4-5 days in the fridge to be safe.

I got mine 4 days ago and let it set out about 3 hours per day the first couple of days and put back in the fridge to speed up the process. I cut it up this morning and it was just right. There was still ice in the cavity but the bird was 100% thawed.

It took a 10lb 3 days thaw out in the fridge for me.
