The blade is Alabama Damascus 8 7/8 overall, tip to guard is 4 inches. Perfect balance with the thick brass guard.
The handle is stabilized Spalted Hackberry, front is stabilized olive wood with white spacers. This is my favorite handle to put on my hidden tang knives, has a great feel in the hand.

The sheath is leather lined to hold the knife snugly in place and made to sit high on a belt loop for quick access.

Very nice! Both the knife and the sheath appear to be of the highest quality!!

I had that knife for sale on a few hunting forums and lots of likes but no one wanted to spend the cash. I decided to keep it, it's going to be my EDC, I'd rather keep it or give it away than belittle my work with lowering my price. And the price wasn't out of line, I sell knives everyday for more than what I was asking for it.

I love your custom knives, but....I do not like brass on my knives. I know we are all different and have different ideas about what looks good, based on our experiences. I just can't buy a knife with brass bolsters. I guess it reminds me of the ones I grew up with that were not great.

Frankly I would have loved to used a Stainless Steel guard on this build; however I won't put my mill through that much strain. BTW, do use stainless steel for bolsters and brass guards on most of my knifes.

Thanks Jim; I decided to keep it as my personal EDC. Just feels too good in my hand and can't part with it. As a knife maker you'd be surprised how many knives I was going to keep and seems like someone talks me out it eventually. I added a keeper strap to it and fits great on my hip.
