To help control the pig population. Think Bob Barker would be proud. Group of about 12 this size came out into the turnip patch. After the first one, they just ran the right way and I was able to drop three of them. Could have dropped a 4th but only had three rounds in my rifle. Clicked on an empty chamber on a 4th pig. Shot a spike the day before and forgot to replace the bullet. Maybe upgrade to an AR.....30 round mag......

You can shoot a deer with an AR too......  Just jacking around.....heck of a job going three for three with a bolt gun.....

Good shooting from a bolt gun and a 270 at that. Pretty quick recoil recovery to get back on a flleeing pig. Nice work.

Good job on the pigs. Nice 270 fully semiautomatic bolt action assault rifle.
Seriously that was some good shooting to get 2 on the run with a bolt action on runaway pigs.
