I just got back from my place out in Matador. I can tell you the rut was going strong as I saw several nice bucks really running doe's hard. I hunted hard for a large 10 I had seen, but in the end decided to do a little management, taking this crazy looking cull. I took a buddy along, and on the last morning he was able to kill the largest 8 pt he has ever seen. It was a great weekend with great friends. Hope everyone else is having a good season.

Good grief those deer are big. Way to go. Both those deer are studs.
