I really debated on writing this but if this saves someone of the headache I have had to deal with then it’s all worth it.

I had gotten off my lease because it was to far and I didn’t want to drive back up there to get my blind. So I made an agreement with my budy he could buy it and it would work out for everyone. Well he didn’t have the cash at the time so when I talked to Larry he said he could take a card over the phone. My buddy and Larry play phone tag for a little bit but eventually get in touch with each other. He puts the $500 toward my new blind that Larry is gonna build me. I had told Larry no rush as it wasn’t deer season and I wouldn’t be needing it within the week. Well a month goes by and he tells me my metal should be in and they will get it started. I call him the 3 weeks to see what’s the status is and he starts giving me the run around so I keep trying to get in touch with him but he ends up blocking my number, on accident he says, so I get in touch with him again and ask for a refund and he tells me that he will get a check in the mail. Well a check never shows and he will not respond to any of my text messages or phone calls. I guess it’s just a lost cause

I had bought two blinds and one tower off of Larry prior so I really thought it would be no big deal. I started reading some stuff on here that people had some issues with Larry Andy other guys were saying “oh no he’s great” , well I was one of those guys that said yeah he’s great but now I see both sides of it.

I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a blind because now I am out $500.

If your buddy paid with a credit card, a phone call to the credit card company is all it should take. What's the problem?

Even if it was 3-4 months ago? I would rather eat the $500 then get my buddy involved.

Well, I guess butter it up and eat it then. I'd put a little effort into recovering $500.

While almost always there’s another side to every story, in this case, there’s just not. I believe Kooch 100%. I should know, we bought over 2 dozen 2man blinds from him at one time. lol They were nothing but problems from the start until I spent a ton of $ and time fixing them. Add to that the absolutely horrible customer service, the lies on top of lies and him being hours, or days, late to everything. The biggest case of overpromise-underdeliver I’ve ever dealt with. All of the bad reviewers about him here (lots have been deleted) aren’t coincedental. He’ll lie right to your face with a smile on his...

I'm sorry, but you're always gonna run across these types in the hunting industry. A welder, or similar type that doesn't want to work for "the man", but they don't have the 1st inkling in, or training for, business. They just know that they're confident, macho, and people are gonna put up with all kinds of crap to buy their stuff. So? So what? And NO.

There's some really great products and entrepreneurs in the hunting industry. And a whole lotta idiots.

I used to have Larry and Blinds4Real on our website as a preferred partner. After my LAST experience with him, I will never work with him again, and would not recommend him. I was pleased with the first order he did for me. The second was the wrong sized tower (paid for larger), pieces that were not installed that I paid for (handrail missing), and there was months and months of run around and lies. He never completed the job, correctly, that I paid for and I gave him multiple chances to fix his mistakes. Good luck with whatever road you take. Sorry you are dealing with this. I used to endorse and applaud his work....not anymore.
