In again this afternoon. Nothing but red wasps moving right now in Upshur.

Had two young deer under the feeder as I was trying to take a picture of them hit the wrong button and it turned the podcast I was listing to in the truck on.....deer left

Young 8 came in for a few min. I'm sure he's hanging around somewhere waiting for the dinner bell to go off. Shot a big hog this afternoon between sits. Caught him slippin at the back of the lease

In the blind in Lee county. Overcast with a strong south wind. Doubt if I'll see much this evening.

12 pt that was here this morning. And an 11 pt if it was my year I would shoot this one he is a stud.

Back on stand this morning.... It means that I didn’t draw one of the trophy tags this year. I’m hunting for a management buck this year.

Light rain in Upshur Co. Two doe just bombed through my lane.

47 with NW wind here in Wood Co. I haven't even seen a squirrel here.

Cold north wind this morning in Coleman about 15 to 20 mph. 6 point on the feeder early then 2doe walk by the feeder with a nice 8 point behind them. The Doe kept going and the 2 bucks ate together with no interest in the doe. I saw a buck chasing Friday night coming in but looks like the rut is not in full swing yet.

Two more doe and a fawn just now.

Met my neighbor at the saloon last night. We shut her down. Felt good to sleep in, besides, it looks cold outside. Headed out this evening. Wind out of the north will let me hunt my favorite stand.
