General season of elk and deer started off slow here in Montana with warm temps, but in the last couple weeks it has become more of what we are accustomed to, brisk temps and a bit of snow. This has led to a good last week or so for myself and a friend. I took a little 6x5 bull and my friend took a nice 6x6 on the ranch we lease for hunting up this way.
