Got an old one (2006) that just keeps running no matter what I do or don't do to it. I want a new one like you guys have, but I don't have a reason to get one. Darn it.
Here's a photo of using mine as a home made sprayer. 55 gallons of water is over 400 lbs sitting in the back and it just keeps on moving like nothing in it.

I am on my 2nd Mule and they been great

we have two mules at the ranch.....a 2006ish and a 2010 model. They are both low, slow and pokey but they are dead reliable. Only issues we had is with the carburetor and ethanol fuel but that's not a manufacture issue

I am on my fourth and they can"t be beat. Talking to the president of Essex the other day and he said mules and kobota was head and shoulders over any other atv.

My brand new mule and my mule an hour later. Never listen to directions from a friend of 50+ years. They will always take you to a mud hole.........

Just one question. Were you bragging about how your mule would go through anything just a minute before this happened?

I bought mine brand new back in 2011 when they added power steering and fuel injection. I paid $8,000 for it and then another $2,000 for the roof and the hydraulic lift for the dump bed. I financed it through Kawasaki for around $80 a month, but paid it off in two years making much larger payments then needed. Since I'm self employed, it's really nice having as small a bill as possible.

What has amazed me about it is how useful it is. Everyone drives it, from my 85 year old dad and 79 year old mom, to young teenagers. It's super easy to operate, and even more important, super easy to get into.

We use it for everything, from getting he mail, to hauling branches to the burn pile, to checking the property line, to filling feeders, to carrying the ice chest down to the pond to go fishing, or a party, to cutting firewood. The list just goes on and on!!! I have several tractors and they all work great and do what I expected them to do, but the Mule surprised me at how useful it is and how it's used more then anything else that I have.

Here is two photos of my old mule being a mule. First one shows how much mud It has on it as oats are growing in the front and the second one you will have to zoom in but it shows the front bumper being held on by duck tape, actually, I used black gorilla tape to tape it back together when my 7 year old grandson ran into a tree while watching a deer instead of where he was going. Notice the brush guard pulled out. It was smashed in so much I had to use a tractor to pull it out so that we could drive it again. AND....it just keeps on running and running.......darn...I want a new one.

I have an '06 that has 1781 hours on it!

I've replaced all four CV axles, front ball joints, belt and belt cover, that's pretty much it, its like the energizer bunny, just keeps going and going! Like y'all, i'd love a new new one, but just can't justify it.
