I’m dropping off my white tail head to the taxidermist soon to get a Euro mount I really like some of the hydro dipped designs and am thinking about getting that done. I just don’t want any lime green or orange or anything flashy. The subdued fall camo patterns really do it for me Either going that way or just bleached white. This is my first Euro and my first mount in 20 years so I want it to be special Kind of torn between doing a hydro or not

If you want it to be special, leave it alone. That camo crap doesn’t make it look good.

I see not everyone is a fan. I like them. This one just happens to be hanging behind my desk at work. Have had many comments on how good it looks:

If you want it to be special, leave it alone. That camo crap doesn’t make it look good. After thinking of it more, I agree with you and others who say leave it natural. I can’t think of any design that would make it look better than just leaving it natural

I really like the bronzed or pewter skull dipping over the camo.

Turns out I have a guy at work that cleans them up for people. A real good guy and he does a great job. He’s going to do it for me and I’m going to take my chainsaw and cut a cross section from one of my cedar trees and try and make my own mounting board for it.
