I'm still trying to "master" my skill of aging my bucks. Always looking for more info on how to determine and if i'm close in my guessing.

I think this buck is 3.5... i did see him last year some and know hes a fairly young 9 but just curious if i'm off by much.

As for the other buck with the extremely short G3's - 2.5 - 3.5?

Hard to tell on the first one since his front feet are lower than his back but I'd say 3.5-4.5 is a good guess. The other one is definitely younger, probably 2.5.

Big deer in front in the 1st pic is 5.5+, I'll bet. Hard to say anything about the deer behind him, but would say younger, as well as the short g3 buck.

4.5-5.5 on first one. Second one I'd have to say 3.5.

I thought the bigger buck looks at least 4.5, maybe more. Smaller is a younger deer.

The bigger one is built a lot like one that I thought was 5.5 last year, and harvested. A professional evaluation of the teeth revealed it to be 3.5.
