Put this in optics thread but really not getting any traction with it. Just broke out my .308 Savage for the first time in about 5-6 years and had forgotten about having replaced the original Simmons, Blazer cheapo package scope with an illuminated BDC Truglo, that I had picked up at Dicks on clearance after having bought the gun at Sports Authority. Turned on the illumination and looked through it; actually the glass looked pretty good and the red illuninated crosshairs were kind of cool too. Liked the two flip up, filtered lens caps on front and back of scope that came with it as well. If memory serves me, I paid in the vicinity of $150 or so for that scope. Anyone have experience with Truglo's higher end scopes and what has it been like? Thanks.

It's not higher end, but I put a Truglo scope on my son's crossbow. It works great!
