It's a Ruger 10/22 pistol with a Shockwave brace I got from my friend today. My buddy dropped it in an aluminum chassis and gave it a 2-tone Cerakote before we traded. Very cool little gun. My son loves it.

I forgot to mention that is has a threaded match barrel and will have a can screwed on as soon as I get my phone call from the FFL. I haven't decided on a scope yet but I have a 2-7 that would work for now.

My baby boy said he'd prefer a red dot so I ordered one. I hope he puts as many rounds through it as I did with my Marlin when I was his age.

I thought my son's new 10/22 was cool. Now I'm really glad he's not on this site. Please don't post specs for the parts it took to build that. I would just have to copy it. That thing is awesome.

That is a sweet little rig. 10/22 was my fist rifle. I always have a special place for them. The new Competition model looks really neat. It's just a little pricey. I need Buzz to buy one so I can buy it from him when he gets tired of it.

Very nice. Congrats!

My Charger is a registered SBR, and is one of my favorites (with or without a silencer).

It has a little Tasco 2.5x Extended Eye Relief scope that works great for my uses.

That’s a sweet little rig. I would have loved to have that as a kid. I shoulda gone the 10/22 route instead of my .22 AR.

Pretty cool little rig there.

I grew up shooting a little Springfield single shot 22. It wasn't until I was old enough to buy a 10/22 that I realized why Dad had me shooting the single shot. Turns out those little 10/22's have quite an appetite for ammo and a brick will only last a day with me pulling the trigger. clap

Man, you ain't lying. My son can go through 500 rounds faster than Buzz can drink a 6 pack. eek2

I wouldn't say "instead of", but definitely along with...

You’re right, I may have to add a 10/22 to go along with the AR .22.
