Just as the title says. It used to throw nice and far. Swapped timer w new one of same model and swapped battery but didn't fix problem. Only things left are wiring, motor or spinner plate/shaft. Any experience w this problem and suggested remedies?

Could be motor. Make sure spinner plate is tight on shaft. Sometimes the screw will back out/loosen up.

Had this happen years ago in a 6v and it ended up being the spin motor

My experience if the motor needs oil then oil it and go buy a new one because its a short term fix.

Check to make sure the plat isn't loose and spinning on the motor shaft. Make sure there is no obstructions in the funnel or around the plate/motor. Test the battery with a volt meter. If none of those its probably time for a new motor.

connect the motor direct to the battery. Spins fine something with timer. Not then replace the motor

Probably bearings getting rough on the Moyer. Might pile it good and get the season.
