Does anyone make a comfortable waterproof pull on boot that doesn't feel like you stuck your foot into a plastic lunch box full of ice cubes. I am going to have to wade through 6"-8" of water this year to get to one of my blinds and I hate the PVC/rubber boots I have now. I have been reading some reviews about Muck boots, anyone have any experience with them or another similar brand.

Lacrosse boots, and none other. I grew up in the Louisiana lowlands along the Mississippi River, and everybody wore Lacrosse boots. Water everywhere. I honestly did not know people hunted on dry ground till I moved to Texas.

Lacrosse and Muck are both. Surprisingly warm and wear all day comfortable.

Any similar neoprene boot should be good too..

I stopped by Bass Pro this evening and tried on the Lacrosse, Muck and Redhead boots and bought the Lacrosse. They just felt better and were cheaper than the Muck.
So thanks again.

I have Bogs..

I have been using a pair of black, rubber, Walmart milk boots. Think they are about $10. Mine are over 20 yrs old and still kicking. I do put my paint legs in the boot to stop any noise when walking.

Get some white ones like the coonasses wear.

I have mixed feelings on the Lacrosse boots. First pair I had had the souls that weren't molded in and they fell off. Not really happy a $100 pair of boots did that.

Second pair were all molded as one piece. They've been fine so far. Had intentions to not buy Lacrosse again after what the first pair did, but after shopping, they did seem to be the best made, so I bought again.

I call those white shrimp boots Matagorda Ropers.

I just always had the standard Lacrosse green rubber boots. Lasted forever, rarely leak unless you stick a thorn in them. And the best thing is that even in that deep Louisiana gumbo mud, the mud won’t suck the boots off your feet when you lift your foot while walking in that godawful mud. In Texas now, I just hunt in worn out leather boots. The mud here isn’t what I’d call serious.

Always we got the boots at the local John Deere place. They knew you have to have those boots if you are farming in the lowlands.

I really like my Mucks for comfort and waterproofing. They’re close to 10 yeas old and the only obvious issue is that they don’t like thorns. They are warm and extremely comfortable. Maybe the most comfortable footwear I own.

Man, I had to retire my Lacrosse a couple weeks ago, bought them in the early 90's, finally got some cracks in them. I just bought some Muck boots at Tractor Supply and they have a thicker sole than my older Lacrosse and are very comfortable!

I bought my Lacrosse rubber boots in the late 90’s they look a little worn but are still comfortable for the entire day and waterproof.

Another vote for the Mucks. I’ve had mine for several years and they are very comfortable, easy on and off, have held up well.
