Has anyone loaded this bullet. I have brass, bullets and 4064 that I’m not using. I plan to load one bullet the test it for safety and velocity in a coworkers rifle. Then load the other 99 and give them to him. The rifle is a new T3 from Europtics big sale recently. This is his first rifle and I am wanting him to get some range time and instructions without fretting the cost of ammo.
He recently bought a 22 bolt action for the same purpose. Anyone who doesn’t own one and shoots very often is missing a free rifle. The price of ammo difference pays for it.
Any load suggestions will be appreciated. I can pick one out of the middle of book spec but was hoping someone had some experience with these in a T3.
I can also use Varget but not as quick to give away powders I actually use. My Varget is reserved for 162 Amax in 7-08 and 178 Amax in .308

It will work, I do not remember the load I used back when I tried the old 154gr Hornady Interlock soft points but I was using IMR4350 at the time
In you case it might not be optimal slower burning powder would probably be better but can for sure work, now how accurate a middle road load will be only can say test it and find out, but you can be sure to find a safe load for it. Hodgdon reloading data center has loads listed for that combination.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
