Yote carried off our two young cats - need to kill him. Anyone used the hot dog/antifreeze method?
Snares or foot trap will not work where I am - open to suggestions

I have shot quite a few here at home with my .22. I prefer snares but too many dogs around my house... but at the ranches I hunt snares are good. Leg hold traps work but takes time to get good at it. I am always cautious about poison in an area with cats/dogs.
Just like Jesus, sometimes you gotta kill some hogs.

A bullet will work - I get that - just don't want to sit out all night waiting on him - we are in a large acreage development -

De-Con Just One Bite. Hunk of meat, put the JOB inside and sew the meat up. It will kill the s_ _ _ out of coyotes. Problem with the antifreeze is it has to be the right type (ethylene glycol) and it has a sweet flavor. Deer will lick on it and you don't want that.

I have used Golden Malrin mixed in with hamburger meat. It will kill anything that eats it so be careful where you place it.

A bullet will work - I get that - just don't want to sit out all night waiting on him - we are in a large acreage development - don't have to. We use to put a cottontail in distress call in a portable cassette player at first light. Called in lots o yotes in Fate. We would sit up in the kids tree fort that overlooked a large pasture.
