Just got my new Winchester XPR Vias 270 in. Topped her off with a Steiner GS3 3-15x56 and plan on using her for stalking in the mountains. Stock isn't as cheap feeling as the Ruger American and definitely looks much better with the Vias camo. First time ever shooting the 270 and she lets ya know shes there. Nice felt recoil but nothing bad. Got her zeroed in at 200yds with 130gr Deer Season XPs. Accuracy right at or under 1 MOA. Trigger feels like a Browning to me which I like. For $350 out the door not bad at all. smile

Anyone else have any experience with the XPR?

If you don’t mind, where did you get it for $350?

I've got the same gun in 7mm-08 and 300wsm and am completely happy with it. Action is slick and it doesn't feel cheap at all.
Out of the box the trigger broke in the mid 3lb range which is fine for me.
Sub moa shooter with a few different kinds of ammo. It's really an under rated rifle in my book .

Bumping this back up as Winchester has a rebate going on through tomorrow for an extra 100 bucks off. You can find these online under 350 and the rebate brings it to 250. Not sure you can find more rifle for that price. Grabbed my son a .270 back when they had the 75 off rebate and gonna have to pick up another one now lol

my "guide" i use this term loosely, last week had one in .300 Win . he had it magnaported, said it reduced recoil a ton. he was very happy with it.

lots of great, inexpensive rifles available nowadays.
