Finally had a day off today and back of my property where i had seen alot of deer on game cam days before. Hunting this morning near my feeder and this afternoon, using a doe call Primo i think and nothing. Could it have been due to the high winds today? What are yalls thoughts on

Using doe call? Maybe that kept them away if they are not used to hearing it. I like hunting when its windy. The deer move and little noises don't spook them.

I had used the same call to call in a buck this past Sat, but it was shy of the 13" spread, so dont think that was it. Was just thinking that on windy days maybe they dont move around as much, due to having wind effect their hearing.

Deer are typically very skittish and move less on windy days. Unless it is a place that is windy all the time.
