I did not, but I was not in the best spot. Hoping to do some scouting this week! Every CWD check station I drove past (drove past two) did not have anyone there. I am curious how people did as well!

I was able to get out Saturday afternoon and there were hunters EVERYWHERE. Lots of cars parked on the side of the roads every where I went. I got to my regular hunting spot and began walking in. BUSTED on the way in.. Wheezing & blowing as it ran off. Never saw it to identify buck or doe.. Most likely a doe as they are the ones that alert every deer in the county when they see danger. Bucks usually just run off without making a sound. The does will blow & wheeze for 20 minutes as they circle around you.

Saw nothing for the duration of the hunt, but heard at least 7 shots around me right at dusk-all of them from different directions. On the way out I walked right up on another deer. Again, it ran off snorting and blowing the entire time. It was well past dark so I never saw it at all. Once I got back to the truck that damned deer must have followed me all the way out of the woods because as I'm taking my gear off to get in the truck it crossed the road less than 50 yards from me still wheezing & snorting as it went.

To those of you with doe tags-PLEASE!-kill them! They ruin more hunts than family events.. Or honey-do lists from wives.. Or football games..

I have been hunting the same area since bow season and I keep getting busted by the does. I know there are bucks there though as the does are plentiful.
