Was thinking this would be a good idea so I Googled it and sure enough. Also some counter weight level indicators too.
Any of you guys using these on elevated feeders?

I just drilled about a 2" hole about half way up on barrel put a piece of plexiglass on inside screwed and sealed. Had this facing the blind so I could scope it.

All my corn feeders have a sight glass in them. I have them in protein feeders before also. It is a good place for a feeder to leak and ruin feed or clog up a feeder. If you do not seal it good and check regularly it will eventually leak. Seal well and check it every year, it will work fine.
