Had a pretty cool hunt opening morning in Milam County. I was in one blind with my 4 year old son. A short ways away, my Dad was in a stand with the other 4 year old son. (Twins) Anyways, about 8:30 I hear a shot ring out. My Dad was able to take a nice 10 point buck with his grandson by his side. It was actually the biggest buck we have ever taken on our small ranch. Scored 134 5/8 and weighed 138 lbs field dressed.

That's fantastic having the boys out there. Times like these will be talked about between those 2 boys when they are Grandpa's age. Congratulations on a good hunt.

I grew up in Cameron. In my day deer were few and far between in Milam County. Congratulations!

The deer population has really gone up over the years. Our ranch has been in the family for 117 years. The first deer wasnít killed on it until 1996.
