I have been trying to figure out how to do a whitetail antler mount with plaster of Paris and leather material. I have done a couple that turned out ok but I have trouble with my material getting wrinkles around the edges and I have tried every which way I can think of but I just can’t seem to be able to get it right. I have a couple that were done by the taxidermist and it looks like they just cut the material to size and went right on. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos and I can’t figure it out. Does any one have any tips or hints they would be willing to share? Thanks

Use glue and staples. 3m trim adhesive is good. Aerosol or tube.
