I need a bone saw for cutting deer in the field. Not really wanting a battery sawzall because of the cleaning involved.

We got one from Academy. But it has only been used a few times to remove deer heads, and that doesn't even require a saw.
Other than that we take all bones apart at the joint. It is fast and there are no sharp bones to poke through bags.

^^Yup.

Only need one good knife to totally get a deer in the cooler.

I use a hacksaw with a 10 teeth to the inch blade. Works just as good as my bone saw and in a smaller package..
