hmm, I vaguely remember something about an Academy deal online quite some time ago, forgot about it until I received the email today to come tomorrow to pickup my new Taurus 9mm pistol and my free Rossi 22 semi-auto rifle......

I might've bought some wheels and tires for the truck...need to read my emails. I sort of had forgotten I dodged a bullet...I didn't commit to buying and once I laid the pencil to it I was going to have to level the truck and I didn't want to do that. I have access to park in a multi-level garage at work and lifting too much would eliminate that for me...and that's a nice benefit to utilize.
