After knee replacement surgery and resigning to explore some other options the year was full of ups and downs. My wife told me to go hunting for opening of rifle after missing most of bow season. I got to the ranch around 8:30 Friday only to realize i grabbed the 30/30 shells instead of .270. The one of multiple perks of this place is it is only 20 minutes from my door to the front gate. So finally got back and settled in and asleep by 1 am. Got to the blind about an hour and half before sun up. Nothing was moving and then about fifteen minutes this old boy showed up and I was done by 8.
