Got some yesterday and looking for a good recipe.
May be wrap in bacon and cook on grill a few, but want to try something new for the rest?

I like to use the Louisiana chicken fry batter.

I came back from North Dakota several years ago with a mixed bag. I had a cookbook called Going Wild in the Kitchen. I basically brazed them then poached them, using mushrooms and white wine. It made a beautiful and delicious dinner.

Thanks guys, chicken fried that is for now. Two will be bacon wrap. And your recipe Bill will be during dinner while eating chicken fried as my sell to get one more hunt in January smile

I like to take the whole pheasant (but you can do just the breast) and brine overnight. The next day lay some bacon over the top so it doesn't dry out and put it in the smoker, soooooo good.

Or a for a quick and easy meal. Put in a crockpot with cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, whochester sauce, wine. And let it do it's thing.

Dang you Strobes. You made me look. I found where my wife had put my stash of old cookbooks. I found a Chinese cookbook in there. I've done many of those recipes and saw a few quick and easy one I plan to try again. But, back on topic.

It's called Braised pheasant. I remember that I boned the breast, rather than split them. I used sharp tails, Huns, and pheasant. It made a beautiful presentation.
