I didn't really want to shoot this spike this morning but Jaxton was so damn excited I couldn't say no when he looked at me and asked if we could shoot it. Soon as I said ok I'll shoot it he started shaking uncontrollably like he had buck fever lol. He can’t hunt on Ft Hood until he is 9 or I would have let him shoot it. Hell I even thought about letting him shoot it anyways but then he would have told everyone including the game warden

I remember trying to convince my old man to shoot a lot of bucks lol.
I always loved hunting later season with him when he would start shooting does, it was a guaranteed hunt we were going to get one!
Great time spent with the kiddo.
