At my Retirement ceremony today, 34 years a firefighter, one of our retirees presented me with a custom call he personally made. Sounds pretty good too. How cool is that!

Then I found out my wife had contacted our very own Dave Speer about a Snipe Decoy for her to give me as a retirement gift. A beautiful hand carved, hand painted work of art. Thank you Dave for doing such a great job on that for her. I'll take a better picture at a later date. I am leaving on a hunting trip tonight and wanted to share it now so I snapped it with the phone. It is much more awesome in person.

That's awesome! Congratulations on the retirement. I've got at least 16 more years to go in the fire service.

Pretty cool.

Congrats on retiring. Time to so something new.

I think I can some what relate. Joined the National Guard out of high school and did 22 years. The first few years I was a tradition Guardsmen. One weekend a month and twwo weeks in the Summer. In 1991 I got one full-time.

Miss it alot, but enjoy being done. No more 12 day work weeks.

Upside to your retiring now is you can duck hunt all 70 days.

Enjoy!
