2cents bring "A" 2-3 dots past B" funneling, "B&C" closer & double posted for extra strength with light spring loaded door, (easily pushed & wire extended 2-3inches past frame) pushing into circle with hinges on "B" ...
Put feeder with spinner straight across from door, along fence, with shield on back side spinner were corn stays inside circle.

I build mine in a “heart shape” so they can push in what would be the top of the heart an push out the bottom. Once they All start pushing in an out you just close a gate where they push out an they are caught hogs. Works great for “trap smart hogs”.

Do the hogs ever just knock down the mesh?

I’ve seen this as well except no exit gate. Just a way in that starts open enough for them to get out. Slowly creep the top of the heart sides closer together until they are touching and the pigs will push their way in but can’t get out.

If u have a exit gate then the trap smart hogs see the other hogs aren’t getting trapped then they will start going in themselves an usually be the first ones in an that’s when u shut off the exit. I’ve caught a lot of hogs with all kinds of traps and dogs an this is by far my favorite an most effective way of trapping big hogs .
