Monday's hunt involved a long blind stalk for gate access where when I go to where the hogs were, they have moved to another spot and the blind stalk to the next spot revealed them to be gone. During all that stalking, I got a text from another landowner that he saw hogs crossing his driveway, so I headed over and managed to drop a boar and sow.

I returned Tuesday night to the first property. Early on, I shot a coyote, but failed to hit 'record.' Eventually, the hogs showed up again and I changed my stalk pattern to not trying to cross the cross fence, but shoot pasture to pasture. It was a much shorter stalk and less time out of visual contact with the hogs and this time they didn't disappear on me...

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf

NICE shot on the sow, it took patience to figure that shot lead on the fly and execute!

Nice!
It's great that you take the time to accurately figure the distances for the various shots.
Yet another interesting video, keep 'em coming.

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

Unfortunately, I am not doing this in real time, but after the fact. Generally speaking, I try to have some idea of the distance I am shooting and so long as it is within 200 yards, I am not concerned with holdover to compensate for drop. I take GPS measurements after the shot and at each downed animal (when I have signal) because "distance shot?" is one of those questions that regularly gets asked. It seems to be the common element in the assessments made by viewers who are considering aspects of marksmanship, rifle/bullet accuracy, bullet performance, and optics performance in the video.

I understand Federal will be releasing more in December. Otherwise, right now it is sold out, everywhere.
