Saturday before last, we received 8 inches of rain overnight. This is what happens when the creek 400+- yards away can't carry any more. I have better videos, but can't figure how to email them to myself to put on desktop. After these pics, it raised another foot. All the way back to the creek (little white rock) was flooded. I get my rain reports from a 5" rain gauge and farmlogs, which isn't to accurate. I was back up there the following Wednesday and the gauge was overflowing again. With the gauge being full X2 and farmlogs reports, I am estimating over 14" of rain for 4 days. Plus an additional 1" last friday night and farm logs has sent me a report this week of 1.3". That is a lot of rain and we expecting more rain today and tomorrow. The first pic is of a feeder on a lease adjacent to our property. I'm phone friends with him and keep him updated on whats happening around the area. The last pic I am on a wheeler on a 10' berm for our pond. You can see a nice hog trail coming right up to the pond.

All this rain is going to make for an interesting season for many of us. Really green, tons of acorns, not much eating corn and my oats is still sitting in bags in the barn waiting on 4-5 dry days so I can plant it.

we got ours planted 2 weeks ago. This weekend they were about 3 inches tall. Army worms all over, but everything is so green it didn't look like they were concentrating on the oats. Hope they make it!

We must have had 10 inches plus in South San Saba county. Creeks and tank have more water than I have seen there in 17 years. I think deer have quit eating corn due to having so much natural.

Same on Sabine. Hoard Rd, water between two bridge's Sabine river N & Old Sabine Channel S. & on FM 14 they had ta build new bridge several years back.
It floods the whole place along that stretch.
They had talked about damning area, make it inta lake years back, had maps of what it look like at little gas station at 14&16.
OSBWMA is flooded gates closed.
First lease was on used ta flood at times also. 1,100 acers, talk of making it a lake. Mud Creek, N side of lease sold ta people West of lease, ATV trails, we asked if we could still hog hunt, got told No.
& on back side, places in texas needen the rain.
Here it messed with the farmers getting crops in. Not good. Mother Nature has mind of its own. Call me a snowflake, still think man plays a roll, seen on FB , still seeing effects of oil spill, think refuring ta explossion. Tis become BluevsRed again. Lots of Fake News.

That's a great area you've got there, sorry for all the water. We've got some land on the other side of 19 off of Tantabogue and its been inaccessible as well
