Our numbers were down somewhat from last year on our Helo survey in early september, but we are seeing evidence of a late hatch since then. It's really hard to tell anything right now because all the pastures look like Augusta National. It's pretty hard to spot birds in waist high habitat. Overall, I think it will be a good year but it will come on late... maybe Jan-Feb.
