Hunted with Pig_Popper this weekend. Interesting hunt. We got set up on hogs on our first property when neighbors showed up in force (2 vehicles of people) to apparently throw us out because they thought we were poachers. That all worked out, but when we returned to the hogs, they got spooked and we only managed one.

Tried calling a hog at the second place. The hogs was 150 yards or so off property and so we tried calling it over to our side of the fence. Nothin' doin'. That hog heard the caller and took off.

Third property, Pig_Popper saw that last could hogs of a sounder cross the road in front of us at the far end of the headlight beam and they happened to be crossing into our property. We circled around to get on the hogs and have a safe shooting direction. We ended up with 3 shot hogs and 2 recovered, both sows.

I enjoyed the hunt and I’m glad we could help out the Land Owner with his pig problem

I’d also never hunted in a bog before (saturated ground) and I learned much about what I perceive it would be like walking with suction cups on a flat surface , it’s sucks (literally and figuratively)
