I took my family to the Miller Double A Ranch in Saint Jo, Texas. The Ranch is located about two hours north of DFW. I was in pursuit of a trophy whitetail buck.

David and Kelly Miller run a first class operation, and are some of the nicest people I have met in the hunting industry. David was my guide, and could not have been better. He knows the ranch, and can score game extremely quickly and accurately.

The lodge is extremely comfortable, and relaxing, with multiple Big Screen TV's, Game and Living Room, full kitchen, screened in porch, as well as 2 full bathrooms.

Meals were also included, and the food was really good, and some local wines from Arche and Blue Osterich were served at dinner each night.

As far as hunting, it was a great time. My son sat with me for almost every sit. We sat in blinds for a few hunts, then did some spot and stalk which was extremely fun. We saw multiple whitetails that were over 150" B&C, as well as multiple Axis Deer, Blackbuck, and Red Stag. There are other species as well on the 3000 acre ranch.

I was able to take a very beautiful deer, that scored 207. I have been dreaming of that since I was nine, so it was a really big moment. I appreciate David Miller helping make that dream come true.

Thanks! It was a little swamp wallaby named Steve. It is a Ranch pet, and very friendly to kids. Made the experience very cool for him.

The Prices they offer are very competitive with anything I've seen, and considering everything the hunt comes with, I find it an great deal. It was a great experience to share with my family.
