Headed that part of Texas in early December and thought we’d check out City Market. Is the BBQ any good?

I only went to the one in Luling once and it must have been a BAD day! I was not impressed. Go to Blacks in Lockhart, get a beef rib and thank me later

City Market is good, I have picked up meat there several times. The sausage is their best item.

City Market is pretty good and definitely worth a stop. I'd also head to Lockhart and hit Kreuz market they are in my opinion better than Blacks. The last few visits to Blacks were less than stellar.

Great sausage. Everything is good. I like it better than the Lockhart trio. My grandmothers place was only 15 miles from there between and Gonzales so it was a GO TO as a kid.

I like their brisket and ribs. Sausage is pretty decent too.
